Lonnie R. Winters has been serving the Tri-State as a licensed massage therapist since 2005. He has been employed by a number of medical clinics in Kentucky and Ohio, working closely with nutritionists, doctors, physical therapists, surgeons, occupational therapists, and others within the medical community to create comprehensive treatment options for patients that can benefit from massage.
After graduating with honors from Collins Career Center’s Massage Therapy program in November 2004, Lonnie began immediate training in Specialized Deep Tissue massage therapy. Since then, he has studied Ortho Bionomy, PNF Stretching, Advanced Trigger Point Techniques, Myofascial Release, and Advanced Myoskeletal Alignment Technique, Cupping (Myofascial Decompression), and Gua Sha.
In 2009, he completed a 1-year Surgical Technology Program so that he would be able to better treat post-surgical clients. All of the education and training qualifies him as a Medical Massage Therapist.
Because of Lonnie’s dedication to the trade and the knowledge that he has acquired from working within the medical community, an article he had written on his Sinus Massage was featured in Jamie Vendera’s Raise Your Voice 2, which is available at amazon.com.
